My Truck VS Falling BB hoop

No One Wins!!!!!!! Steve was helping a family that needed to pull there BB hoop out of there yard, so naturally he takes the truck over to see if he can help out. Well, everything did NOT go according to plan and we end up with a basket ball hoop falling on our truck. Ouch!!!! For those of you who don't know the truck is really "my" truck. I love trucks and I have been telling people that I would drive a Toyota T-100 ever since I was 12. I bought the truck when I was 18 and Steve really married me because I had a truck. Needless to say I love my truck and I am very sad that it got hurt but thankfully it can be fixed and "no one" was hurt during this whole episode.

Bowling With Three Year Olds

The other day we were suppose to go to the park with some friends but it rained, so we went bowling instead. The kids had so much fun chearing for each other, it was great.

Fun With Dad

As a dad you get to be all sorts of things, a jungle gym is always fun, Or as Miranda says, she is climbing a "mountain".

6 Months Old

Our little boy is getting so big and strong. We took him in for his 6 month check this week and here are his new stats. 17 lbs 12oz and 27inches long.

He is slowing down with his growth but is getting so Strong everyday. As you can see from the pictures he is sitting up just fine now and will only fall over if he gets really distracted. His new favorite trick is his push ups. He will push himself up on his toes and go up and down like that. He is so much fun and his favorite person is Miranda. They have so much fun together.

The Slipper Swiper

I love slippers! I like to have something on my feet when I am in the kitchen making breakfast in the morning. I just like them pretty much at all times when I am home. I have a few pairs of slippers but I have my favorites. For the past little while I have been missing one of my favorite slippers. I looked in the all the places that I thought they might be, no luck. Well, the other day i found it and Miranda was not happy to give it back because then her troll would have no where to sleep.

Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter and we able to do all the fun traditional things. Our friends had a little party for the kids on Saturday and colored eggs and had a Easter egg hunt. I think Miranda's favorite part was the cute apron that she wore. She left in on the whole time and I had to force her to take it off when we left. Thanks David and Sherri. It was great.

Garden Boxes

Yeah!! The boxes are ready. I certainly do not claim to have a green thumb but Steven and I have always had at least a little garden since we have been married. This year, I have to say, I am so excited because now we have these beautiful raised beds. It has been work getting them all ready to go (mostly because we haven't had a lot of time) But now I can start planting and hopefully we can have some yummy food from the garden this year.
