The Grotto of the Redemption

While grandma and grandpa were in town we went to see the Grotto of the Redemption. It is about and hour and a half from us and is the largest grotto in the world. It is made of rocks, gemstones, and petrified wood. There are beautiful statues and mosaics all over the ground. It was a pretty amazing site to see. It follows the depiction of the saviors life.

It was huge and pictures can't really do it justice but it was cool to see and funny to think that such a work of art is hidden in a little town in the middle of Iowa.

Grandma and Grandpa Mills Visit

We were so blessed to have Steven's parents with us last week over spring break. We had a great time showing them around our cute little town and spending time with the kids.
Our Jackson loves dirt. I just had to include this picture because it is so him.
Our Children's new favorite books are the Magic Tree House Series. They love for Steven to read to them and are so engaged in the story. The most recent one they are reading is about ninjas so this is them all dressed up like ninjas. We took grandma and grandpa over to see the lake across the street. Not a bad view.
Grandpa and Jackson!
