6 Months Old

Our little boy is getting so big and strong. We took him in for his 6 month check this week and here are his new stats. 17 lbs 12oz and 27inches long.

He is slowing down with his growth but is getting so Strong everyday. As you can see from the pictures he is sitting up just fine now and will only fall over if he gets really distracted. His new favorite trick is his push ups. He will push himself up on his toes and go up and down like that. He is so much fun and his favorite person is Miranda. They have so much fun together.

The Slipper Swiper

I love slippers! I like to have something on my feet when I am in the kitchen making breakfast in the morning. I just like them pretty much at all times when I am home. I have a few pairs of slippers but I have my favorites. For the past little while I have been missing one of my favorite slippers. I looked in the all the places that I thought they might be, no luck. Well, the other day i found it and Miranda was not happy to give it back because then her troll would have no where to sleep.

Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter and we able to do all the fun traditional things. Our friends had a little party for the kids on Saturday and colored eggs and had a Easter egg hunt. I think Miranda's favorite part was the cute apron that she wore. She left in on the whole time and I had to force her to take it off when we left. Thanks David and Sherri. It was great.

Garden Boxes

Yeah!! The boxes are ready. I certainly do not claim to have a green thumb but Steven and I have always had at least a little garden since we have been married. This year, I have to say, I am so excited because now we have these beautiful raised beds. It has been work getting them all ready to go (mostly because we haven't had a lot of time) But now I can start planting and hopefully we can have some yummy food from the garden this year.

Lets Eat

Jacob has now started to eat his baby oatmeal. He was unsure for a little bit but now he loves it and eats it all up pretty quick. It takes a lot of trust on a babies part to eat the crazy things we give them. For all he knows we are feeding him dirt. Anyway he figured out that it was okay so here are just a few pictures from his first couple bites.

Miranda loves to dress up now and she is great at using her imagination and becoming whatever she wants to be. In this picture she is dressed as a princess and she is welcoming her Prince home .

Stomp Was Great

This Tuesday was the Stomp concert and it was so much fun. A great friend of ours came over to our house, brought her kids over and watched both kids for us (thanks Janeece) Unfortunately they did not want us to take pictures so instead you get a picture of Steven and I, aren't you lucky. I would recommend it to anyone and when our Kids are a little older it would be so fun to take them to go and see it. I was great!
